“Sundowner: tramp or hobo, esp. one who arrives at a homestead near sundown in order to avoid having to work in exchange for shelter. (Australian).”
This definition of sundowner is kind of negative. Our idea of travelling is to be a little bit a rambler that is always looking for something new, without particular plans. To our mind, the sundowner is someone that is travelling throughout the world, meeting new people in every place they go, having a lot of fun and being up all night telling their stories to their new friends. The sundowner is someone that fully lives their life. They embrace their passions, they avoid routines, they do also crazy stuffs that a normal person wouldn’t do because they’re enough young to be careless. The sundowner are always learning something new from each experience, positive or negative, and they’re used to go through difficult moments but they never get discouraged. The sundowner reads, listens to music, always ready to share their knowledge and to learn from others.
List: it comes from the idea of the travel notes of the great travellers of the past. They used to take some notes about the places where they’ve been, reporting their impressions and their feelings about a particular spot.
